The focus of Masters swimming is to participate in and enjoy the sport, build friendships, encourage healthy lifestyles and to compete against other swimmers of similar age and/or achieve personal challenges such as Swim Ireland’s Swim for a Mile Challenge and open water events.

SwimWest is a Swim Ireland affiliated club and membership ensures you can participate as an insured swimmer in training, open water races and masters pool races linked to Swim Ireland.

We encourage swimmers to get involved in challenges and competition.
